He has worked in local studios in orange county. He has recorded local bands and was Engineer on the song “yo 2 Joe” by Phil Colin (Def Leppard) and Joe Satriani.
Alec Bauer
Background
Alec Bauer grew up in Huntington Beach. During High School Alec was a member of the Academy for the Performing Arts (APA) at Huntington Beach High School where he excelled and took a leadership role. Alec also began by playing snippets of the cover songs performed by Camp Freddy over the phone on the Camp Freddy Radio Show on Indie 103.1 and became a regular guest. Dave Navarro and Billy Morrison invited Camp Teddy the "Tribute Band for the Tribute Band" open for a Camp Freddy show at The Key Club. Alec has performed in Huntington Beach high school's "Retrofest", at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, The GalaxyTheater and other clubs in Orange County. Alec became the tech, roadie, and driver for L.A. Guns June 2007 to February 2008 and joined LA Guns as Rhythm Guitarist in 2008. They traveled to the cottage country of Ontario, Canada and recorded a new album with Grammy Award winning producer Steve Thompson. LA Guns embarked straight from the studio on the "LA Guns Summer Black Out Tour 2008" with Faster Pussycat. Alec has played shows and clubs such as Rocklahoma, South Texas RockFest, South Dakota RockFest, The Key Club, The Knitting Factory Boise Idaho, The Hard Rock San Juan, Puerto Rico and many more. The Band also did a South American Tour in September 08. In 09 that lineup of LA Guns Played Vegas Hard Rock "Wasted Space" and Desert Invasion in Arizona.

Alec Bauer participated in the Academy for the Performing Arts at Huntington Beach High School in the award winning Music, Media & Entertainment Technology program. His teacher,Jamie Knight is a Logic 9 Certified Instructor and Apple Distinguished Educator. Under Mr. Knights tutelage Alec participated in the annual Retrofest Performance as the show’s featured guitarist. He also traveled to Liverpool and participated in the International Pop Overthrow Festival and performed at the world famous Cavern Club. Alec was described as as a natural student leader who helped plan shows, who understands current technology, and is a stellar guitarist. Alec is also passionate about all aspects of modern media production. Alec earned the Gold Award in 2006 and 2007 in the Commercial Recording Arts Department. and voted “Best Business Student and Most Destined to Succeed”. Alec also received The Huntington Beach High School S.T.A.R. Award in 2007 for performance. Alec is now performing solo shows around the west coast

​Marty Casey who gained notoriety as the runner up on the Rock and Roll reality show “Rock Star INXS” worked with Alec to produce an original album. Marty was the former front man for LA Guns and is currently the front man for The Lovehammers from Chicago Illinois. Alec Bauer, Marty Casey,Jeremy Guns, Tracii Guns and Chad Stewart worked with Grammy Award winning producer Steve Thompson in Toronto, Canada to produce a new album for LA Guns. Mr. Casey commented “Alec immediately began presenting creative ideas to craft the original songs. He has incredible perspective in terms of alternate rhythm patterns, development of clever song arrangements and assistance in development of lyrics.” Alec also assisted Steve Thompson in working the recording console, dialing up amps and searching for the proper tones. “The band and the production team were impressed with Alec’s determination in the creation of an amazing album”. Alec has has released an album in 2018 and is working on his second.
